NSF Flash Bar FAQ

Questions About the NSF Flash Bar

What shapes and combinations of NSF Flash Bars can I make?

There are currently four segments available for the NSF Flash Bar; the straight segment, the circular segment, the 90 degree corner, and the 60 degree corner.

This provides a range of different shapes and sizes. Check out our Bar Builder tool to design your own bar!

What is the smallest NSF Flash Bar I can order?

Technically, the smallest NSF Flash Bar you can order is a single straight segment with end caps. This would be a sufficient starter bar that you can add on to as you go.

What are the NSF Flash Bar dimensions?

The exact dimensions of the NSF Flash Bar vary based on the size and shape bar you design.

However, we have the exact dimensions for each segment here:

Can I use the NSF Flash Bar for indoors and outdoors?

Yes! The NSF Flash Bar is made from stainless steel with an acrylic counter top. However, if you plan on keeping the Flash Bar outside for an extended amount of time, we recommend covering it for protection.

What is the Counter Top made out of?

The stock counter top on the NSF Flash Bar is a 9mm, scratch resistant, black acrylic. It is very durable and bolted onto the NSF Flash Bar, therefore easily replaceable.

How many LEDs do I need for the NSF Flash Bar?

You will need one LED pack for every four segments of your NSF Flash Bar. However, if you plan on splitting your NSF Flash Bar into multiple stand alone bars (set of end caps needed for each bar) you will need an additional power source for your LEDs. Purchase an additional LED power source here.

I already have a NSF Flash Bar, but I want to come back and add an accessory, can I?

Yes, absolutely!

We designed everything on the NSF Flash Bar to be modular. Each accessory that we create can be retrofitted onto the NSF Flash Bar.

For example, if you wanted to add an Ice Bin to your NSF Flash Bar, you can do so. We’ve designed a modular shelf with a cutout for the Ice Bin that snaps onto the NSF Flash Bar frame like the regular shelves.

How do I add graphics to my NSF Flash Bar?

Large scale vinyl printing usually needs to be set up by a graphic designer with experience in vector artwork. Download our complete guide to artwork here for more information.

If you do not have access to a graphic designer we can set you up with a graphic designer who charges an hourly rate in 15-minute increments.

Please be aware that lead times for an NSF Flash Bar with graphics can vary. They depend on when we get the final print-ready artwork files approved by both the customer and our printer.

How many NSF Flash Bar segments does the Road Case carry?

A single Road Case is designed to carry two straight segments OR two corner segments OR one straight segment one corner segment.

Basically, two NSF Flash Bar segments for each Road Case.

You will need a Road Case for every two NSF Flash Bar segment combinations you plan on transporting.

Do I need to purchase the Road Case?

No, you don’t need to purchase the Road Case to transport the NSF Flash Bar, but it is recommended.

We designed the NSF Flash Bar to transport easily with each light-weight piece stacking and laying flat. However, we have designed the Road Case to be a protective storage case to transport the NSF Flash Bar efficiently and safely.

Shipping, Cost, and Installation

How do I turn the NSF Flash Bar into two separate bars?

Each NSF Flash Bar comes with ONE set of end caps.

To turn the NSF Flash Bar into two separate bars, you will need to purchase an extra set of end caps (one set for each extended bar you would like to make).

The NSF Flash Bar is modular and comes in segments. Theoretically, you can make as many bars as you’d like to any size and shape. However, because each bar comes with only one set of end caps, each stand alone NSF Flash Bar will need it’s own set of end caps. This is how the bar was designed to work.

How do I assemble the NSF Flash Bar once it arrives?

The NSF Flash Bar easily assembles with no tools! No segment takes more than a few minutes with a two person setup.

There is an assembly manual included with your NSF Flash Bar order.

Furthermore, check out our setup video.

How much does the NSF Flash Bar cost?

NSF Flash Bar pricing is variable depending on how many segments you need.
