Lately, we’ve had quite a few customers contact us asking what the differences are between the Flash Bar Case and the Road Case so we decided to create this blog post to provide a detailed description of each case and the differences between them.
Both the Flash Bar Case and the Road Case are designed specifically to store and transport Flash Bar segments and have the same heavy-duty design that is sure to stand up to the rigors of travel and the wear and tear of transportation all while keeping your Flash Bar secure and safe.
The primary difference between the two is the Flash Bar Case only holds one Flash Bar segment where the Road Case can hold 2 Flash Bar segments depending on which segments are packed.
The other major difference is the padding/insert on the interior of the cases. Both cases are fully lined with 1/4 inch impact resistant foam padding to ensure extra security and give you peace of mind when your Flash Bar is being transported, but the Flash Bar Case has a round steel tube insert that has been dipped in a liquid polyurethane to provide a soft rubbery padding and hold each piece in place. Because the Road Case is designed to fit two Flash Bar segments, it does not have this feature.
Both cases are constructed with signature series 3/8 inch design laminated plywood, which provides a unique look and both are crafted using the highest quality materials and workmanship, to provide you the ultimate security for your Flash Bar. If you are constantly moving or renting out your Flash Bar and want to keep it safe, these cases will ensure your investment is protected at all times.
The exterior trim on both cases is all aluminum & assembled with certified aluminum rivets. The rivets on the 4 recessed spring-loaded handles are backed with washers to ensure strength and durability. Each case is held closed with 4 recessed butterfly latches.
The four wheels on each case allow them to stand vertically and the heavy-duty casters with rubber wheels on each end allow either case to be rolled laying flat or lifted by the handles on either end and rolled on two wheels.
